To understand the pictures used in the piano chord guide it is to your advantage to know all the notes on the keyboard. Therefore, you should strive for placing your hand somewhere in the middle. You will notice, however, that there is more bass on the left part of the keyboard and more treble as you go to the right. Since the pattern of keys repeat itself on the keyboard, you can place your hand in many positions. To play the actual chord on a piano, press down all keys marked in red (if needed, see a diagram compared to a realistic picture). On the image below you can see one example of how a piano chord is presented on this site including a diagram:Ī red color means that the key is part of the chord that is in focus. Combining themĪfter you learned some chords, the next step is to combine them into progressions. See fingerings illustrated with pictures. Normally, the ring fingers are the weakest and need the most strength training. On this site you can find fingerings for the chords, these are suggestions that strives to follow the standard way, but must not be optimal in all situations or for all hands.Įxercises could be done for developing independence among the fingers. The numbers are used to simplify and represent the five fingers from thumb (1) to little finger (5), regardless if the left or right hand is concerned. Other piano techniques include playing chords in two parts (e.g. you play in a band or with a singer) you can choose to play only with one hand or with both, depending on how advanced things you are playing – when playing chords including many notes, using two hands can be advantageous (see Two-hands chords). I’m willing to take chances on something that could help people turn their garbage into a sustainable resource. So why, when the Kickstarter for Lomi began, was I willing to risk paying for yet another device? There are many reasons. Most of those experiences were disappointing, and most people would have been skittish to try yet another company’s version. This is not the first composting device I’ve owned, so I have prior experiences to compare it to. I did get it for less than its $499 retail price by being an early bird supporter. I was one of the backers who Kickstarted the Lomi Composter – and thus, I paid for this device that I’m about to review with no compensation. Cost reductions for repairs, Upgrades.I have to start this piece on Lomi compost by admitting that I am a compost gadget geek. Mechanic (Vehicles = life saving water in a desert). I think it was after difficulty applied.Ĭomputer (you just can really luck out and should take it) (then again its just 1 outpost) dammit, can't recall if its the base or after difficulty increase. "Hey Rocky, watch me pull a rabbit out of my hat!"įood reduction skills should be amazing on Lethal. Its stupid how these skills give any resoureces at all, but hey they produce 2. I didn't find the other explosives that good at all, costs that is. With the FIlling mod + Chem you get 12 per craft (something like 4 Fuel, 80 parts, some chemicals). On my 3rd lethal play.Ĭhem is great, and munitions on it. I guess it kind of depends if people are going to do it 100% fresh or just stomp with loaded community or survivors (which im sure most do). Could be higher but i finished my first Lethal run on day 12 (idk if it is good or not) so i did not had time to fully upgrade the lounge x) So Enact rationing is always activated but countered by Feasts (nutrition) bonuses and with Lounge and plague hearts kills you can go up to 30+ morale. the result is that i did my first Lethal run without building a garden xD Computer is nice to have too, because you can increase your number of food outposts after upgrading command center lvl 3. So I went for Lichenologist (some people will argue with that), Chemistry (Pharmacology early on) and Cooking (Nutrition OP). Note that by doing this technique, none of my survivor threatened to leave or left yet.It is just quite dangerous if they get frustrated while injured I think Proctection method is the safest by far, mine is just another way to play the game. And i have a self sufficient base on day 1 with a lichenologist and positive food production (like +0.75 or so). My people have Hopeless morale very often but when someone is frustrated i just take them out of the base for a ride. day 1 was producing +4 food with outposts and dangerously enabled food rationing as soon as i moved to the base. I simply looted what I needed, or traded for it. And by the time I clicked on Food Rationing, I was at 9 survivors. By the time I could produce more than 3 food per day, I was at 7 survivors I think. I started with 3 Soundproofing experts (randoms), and there was no rush to get this or get that in the beginning because that was the least of my worries. In other words, since it takes a while to even get to the point where you can afford to start producing stuff, it doesn't really matter who you start with. You need to destroy Plague Hearts and Infestations regularly to boost Morale, and you should aim to choose a Trader leader and build a Trading Post as soon as you can, so that you get hold of the Facility Mods that you need. Before that point, progress is going to be excrutiatingly slow because of the low morale, and fights will bring that morale even more down. And you should ideally have both a Slow Cooker, Feast and even a White Noise Generator before activating Food Rationing. Your people might leave if you do that when your community is Miserable already.īefore you have Water and Power, none of that is a feasible solution. You also can't really enable Food Rationing in the Kitchen before you have stabilized Morale. But it takes time to build up an advanced enough Farm or Garden and you need to be lucky to get hold of a Bag of Fertilizer or Compost Bin early in order to produce 7-9 Food per day. As your community grows, Food production will be the biggest issue in Lethal. Lightroom also offers the image metadata viewer which allows the user to see full / complete exif data (all the technical info – settings and much more) of an image, again this is something that I am not interested in. So I decided that I will keep organising and filling my photographs manually. It was too complicated for me, and I decided it is inefficient and not for me. I still had to open the image in Photoshop in order to fine-tune most of my images, to optimise and finish them. When I first tried Lightroom I realised that it is only a pre-editing software which allowed me only to convert my RAW files and make very basic changes. I personally like to do that – I like to manage my images myself. Photoshop does not offer an image database or a viewer because it is only an editing software hence you need to organise your images by yourself. Lightroom also offers an image viewer which allows the user to go through their images and make selections. Lightroom was initially created for managing a large batch of images and includes an image library (it’s importing the images into an incorporated database) allowing the user to keep the media files organised in one place. Lightroom offers some specific functions (which have nothing to do with editing) which Photoshop currently doesn’t and the other way around, and also some basic editing fucntions. So, technically Lightroom is a raw converter, which can also be linked to Photoshop trough another piece of software: Adobe Bridge so that when you finish the raw basic conversion you can transfer the image into Adobe Photoshop for advanced editing. I personally do not consider Lightroom as editing software, but a pre-editing tool and also an image management tool. Lightroom’s full correct name is Adobe Photoshop Lightroom. Photoshop also offers some (quite important to my workflow) selective editing tools which allow the user to make changes to only one part of the image. Photoshop is a very powerful editing tool which allows image editors and photographers to improve and enhance their original images to fine-tune them and perform some advanced changes such as straightening perspectives, dealing with blemishes, cleaning spots from the images, and many, many other advanced features. Photoshop is a very advanced and complex image editing software which can convert your raw files into usable formats and also offers a variety of functions / tools / brushes (whatever you want to call them) which help photographers and many other image editors to convert, edit, and optimise their images into a largely recognised usable format (such as jpg, tif, png, etc.). This also applies to Aperture (from Apple on Mac) software which is very similar with Lightroom. So, I only use Adobe Photoshop and not Adobe Photoshop Lightroom and in this article I will talk about the main differences and similarities between these two Adobe products, why I only use Adobe Photoshop, and what the two programs can and can’t do.
